All tours depart from Durrës and Tirana. We offer hotel pickup directly from your accommodation in both cities — just share your hotel name when booking and we'll come to you.
We recommend booking at least 2–3 days in advance, especially in peak season (June–September). Some tours like Komani Lake fill up quickly, so earlier is better. Last-minute bookings may be possible — just contact us.
Most tours offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure. Some tours with special arrangements (boat trips, etc.) require 48 hours notice. Full details are shown on each tour's booking page.
Yes — all our guides speak fluent English and Italian. We also offer tours in Albanian. Our guides are not just translators — they're passionate locals who bring the history and culture to life.
All tours include: hotel pickup and drop-off, air-conditioned transport, and a certified local guide. Specific tours also include boat trips, entry fees, or life jackets where applicable. What's not included is always clearly listed (meals, personal expenses, optional activities).
Albania is genuinely one of the safest countries for tourists in Europe. Violent crime targeting tourists is extremely rare. Albanians are famously hospitable to guests — "besa" (the code of honour toward guests) is deeply cultural. We've guided hundreds of solo travellers, women travelling alone, and families without a single security incident.
Most tours are suitable for all fitness levels (Easy). The Bovilla & Gamti Mountain tour involves a moderate hike and is not suitable for people with altitude sickness or limited mobility. Tour difficulty is clearly marked on each card. When in doubt, just ask us.
Absolutely. All tours are available as private bookings for couples, families, or groups. Private tours offer more flexibility — we can adjust timing, stops, and pace to suit you. Contact us for a private tour quote.
Albania is wonderful year-round, but the sweet spot is April–June and September–October — warm weather, fewer crowds, lush landscapes. July–August is peak season (hotter, busier). Winter tours of Gjirokastër and Berat are magical with fewer tourists.
Citizens of the EU, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and most European countries can enter Albania visa-free for up to 90 days. Always check the latest requirements for your specific passport before travelling.
